DUNCAN WOOD | Chief Engineer

Duncan is a co-founder of Raven Technology LLC and brings a background in custom production machinery and product design. He has a particular focus on motion control. He has been intimately involved in the development of the Blackbird 5 kW generator and led the mechanical engineering aspects of the design. He also has responsibility for developing and refining manufacturing processes. Previously, Duncan ran his own company, Wood Engineering, designing and building custom production machinery for industrial customers. He was formerly Chief Engineer at Twin Rivers Engineering, Inc., East Boothbay, ME (1984-1988). He also served as Sr. Engineer with management responsibilities at NTS, Inc., Brunswick, ME (1988-1995). He has a BS/ME from Penn State and a MS/ME from the University Minnesota.
